In a shocking incident that has left the community in shock, the Police in Half Assini Division have rescued a 12-year-old boy who was seen in a viral video tied with a nylon rope, hanging on a roof of a building and being subjected to severe beatings by two adults for having stolen 200 cedis Ankasa community near Elubo in the Western Region.
The suspects, Issah Morro age 58 years and Suleman Abdul Rashid 27 years, were seen in the video and have since been arrested. They are currently in Police custody assisting in the investigation.
The victim has received medical attention and has been handed over to his father. The Police Command assures the safety of the public and urges everyone to report any suspicious or harmful behavior promptly to the nearest Police Station.
