Important Update on Teacher Trainee Allowance Payments

This article clarifies the frequently asked questions by teacher trainees about the second payment of trainees allowance. 

This important update is provided regarding the payment of your allowances. Starting today, Monday, August 4, 2025, the second pre-audit process will continue. 

This step is crucial for ensuring the smooth processing of your five-month allowances. About 36,000 teacher trainees are yet to be paid across most of the Colleges of Education in Ghana.

Please note that the Student Loan Trust Fund is currently undertaking pre-audit of teacher trainees data for payment. As a result, the remaining allowances will be processed after this step. Payment is expected to be made within this week.

No action is required from you at this time. Please stay tuned for further updates.

We are confident that the leadership of the Teacher Trainee's Association of Ghana (TTAG) is putting measures in place for quick payments as soon as the pre-auditing is done for about 36,000 teacher trainees.
