Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, located in Mampong-Akuaepam, Eastern Region, Ghana, is pleased to announce the upcoming conduct of free surgeries. A team of surgeons from the United States, along with the hospital’s surgical team, will be performing these surgeries. The cases that will be done include hernias, hysterectomy, and plastic surgery (burns/scar on the hands).
Screening for these conditions will take place at Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital from July 22, 2025, to September 21, 2025. The actual surgeries will be conducted from September 22 to September 26, 2025.
We kindly request that you inform your constituents, staff, members, and congregants about this upcoming event. Please note that the surgeries are essentially free, except for labs, imaging (x-rays), scans, oxygen, and some medications. Patients must come along with a valid NHIS card.
