Prophet of Panic: Ebo Noah to be Arraigned In Court Tomorrow After Failed Global Flood Prediction Sparks Chaos

The Ghana Police Service has made good on its warnings against alarming prophecies with the arrest of a self-proclaimed prophet, Ebo Noah. The arrest follows weeks of escalating tension sparked by his doomsday prediction of a three-year global flood, which put many in panic.

Ebo Noah is slated for arraignment in court on charges relating to the creation of public fear and panic. He had claimed a divine instruction to build modern-day arks to save believers from a cataclysm he declared would begin on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.

When December 25 passed without incident, Noah shifted his narrative. In a video address, he claimed that his intense prayers and fasting had successfully persuaded God to postpone the global disaster. However, any remaining credibility was severely damaged when he appeared on stage at Sarkodie’s high-profile Rapperholic 2025 concert.

Addressing the celebratory crowd, Noah declared, "You can celebrate because the doom has been postponed." The spectacle, juxtaposed with the earlier panic, ignited a firestorm of criticism on social media platforms. Ghanaians nationwide accused him of blatantly misleading vulnerable citizens and called for his immediate arrest.

The arrest of Ebo Noah is seen as a direct and forceful application of this policy. It sends a clear message to religious figures and others that predictions causing mass fear and social disruption will not be tolerated. The case has sparked a broader national conversation about the limits of religious expression, the exploitation of faith, and the responsibility of authorities to protect citizens from orchestrated panic.

The police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and have encouraged the public to remain calm and report any further attempts to incite fear through unsubstantiated prophecies.
