[APPLY NOW] : Local Tertiary Scholarship Applications for 2025/2026 Academic Year

 

The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat is now accepting applications for local tertiary scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. The application period is from July 30, 2025, to August 15, 2025.

Procedure for Application

1. Phase 1: Visit the scholarship portal at www.scholarships.gov.gh, create an account, and upload required documents, including academic transcripts, admission letters, and academic certificates.

2. Phase 2: Complete an online aptitude test on a scheduled date.

3. Phase 3: Qualified applicants will be invited for a selection interview at selected Multi-Media Development Agencies (MMDAs).

Requirements

- Gained admission into a local tertiary institution and registered with the school for the program.

- Academic transcript (for continuing students).

- Admission letter (for all applicants).

- Applicants from public universities and colleges must be at least level 200 to apply (non-beneficiaries of the "No Fee Stress" policy), while private university applicants can apply from level 100.

- Applicants must be Ghanaian and resident in Ghana.
