Accra, December 30, 2025 – The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has officially announced the conclusion of its academic fee reimbursement exercise for validated first-year students in Public Tertiary Institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to the statement released by the SLTF, a total of 178,745 enrollment records were received from various institutions. Out of 168,855 completed applications submitted by students on these enrollment lists, the SLTF successfully validated and processed reimbursements for 152,698 students.
The Chief Executive Officer of SLTF, Dr. Saajida Shiraz, emphasized the Fund's dedication to accountability. "We affirm our commitment to due diligence and to the diligent deployment of public funds in service of accessible, inclusive, and equitable higher education in Ghana," she stated.
In a move to enhance transparency, the SLTF has launched an N.F.S Status Checker on its official website. This online tool allows all affected first-year students to instantly verify their individual validation and reimbursement status.
