In a recent development, a Ghanaian blogger on TikTok @undercover_tv has announced that L400 teacher trainees in colleges of education will receive a GHC2,400 allowance for the period of their Macro Teaching Practice while L100 to L300 shall receive the usual amount. This news was shared in a viral video that he highlighted the efforts of the Education Minister and the President of Ghana in making this possible which is yet to be confirmed by authorities.
The announcement has been met with excitement and hope among the L400 teacher trainees, who have been eagerly awaiting 3 months outstanding payments for the 1st semester of 2024/2025 academic year.
